happy friday! So word on the street is we can get into our classrooms THIS WEEKEND!!!

EEEK! So my plan is to head up to school tomorrow to start working! I have so much to get done and I cannot wait to get started! D has graciously..errrr said he would help :)

BUT today I am SOOOO excited because I have VLOG for you. Allie and a few others put together a link up for accents! Well you all know I love a vlog, so I was SO excited to participate!!

without further ado

Also, when I was talking about soda/pop I meant Kansas City/Nebraska NOT STL. oooops

If you are here from the link up, welcome! I cannot wait to watch your vids :)

Have a great weekend lovlies!!

  1. Aw, I can't watch the videos at work, but I hope you have a great weekend! xo

  2. Yay for saying cuuuupon and not the other way! I say it that way too! Love it!

  3. you're so cuuuute! a cute little twang. also is there another name for TPing? really?

and i say pop. i wish my video would have worked in time wahhh :(

  4. I don't really hear much of an accent. Maybe a few words here and there, but that's just like me.

P.S. I also live in MO!! About 30 mins SW of Jeff City.

  5. Every once in a while I hear an accent .. but not all the time. :)

  6. You would totally fit in down here in the South. Tell David that it is so not called a tuner and that is the craziest thing I've ever heard. JK don't tell him that, he might think I'm weird.

  7. I love your blog name. There are some people who pronounce "both" with an "l". There's a scene about it in this episode of Red vs Blue. I started saying "soda" when I lived in Florida, but I grew up calling it "pop". My jaw dropped when you said your boyfriend calls the remote a "tuner". I have yet to come across someone else who says that. I grew up saying it but people always looked at me like they didn't know WTF I was talking about so I usually say "remote". When I was talking about it the other day with my husband he made fun of me and said "tuner" sounds like I'm in the 60s.

  8. I didn't think you had an accent until that last little bit when you said Mom and Hockey - then I definitely heard the midwestern accent! I met up with a blog friend in the Twin Cities last summer and couldn't get over her midwest accent - I thought it was adorable. She didn't think she had an accent at all, but told me and my friends that were with me that she could definitely hear our Canadian accents - which I also don't think we have haha

  9. It's amazing to me how different we all talk. It's odd to hear people say cart, and not buggy. Never heard of the remote being called clicker or tuner. Fire Fly just sounds odd to me b/c I've always said Lightning Bugs. I couldn't really tell an accent.

I appreciate all your sweet comments, they truly make my day. I do my very best to respond to everyone who leaves a comment!

have a wonderful day :)
